From the 19th to 23rd June 2017, adelphi coordinated a delegation trip for decision-makers and energy experts from New York State to Berlin.
During the delegation trip from the 25th to 28th September 2017 in Berlin, US system operators met with German electricity market and network experts to discuss current opportunities, energy policy challenges and previous experiences.
In order to strengthen the bilateral transatlantic cooperation and allow for an exchange of lessons learned and best practices, Ulrich Benterbusch, Deputy Director-General Efficiency and heat in industry and households, Sustainable mobility at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), invited leaders and experts in energy efficiency from both countries to a three-day event in Berlin.
On 19-20 October 2017, high level policy makers, business and civil society experts discussed key issues of the energy transition in Sacramento.
On February 27, 2018, German and US energy experts discussed the challenges and opportunities of the energy transition in Texas and Germany at a bilateral expert meeting in Austin, Texas.
From May, 14th 2018 the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) invited selected representatives of US think tanks to a four-day workshop and study tour in Berlin.
